A Valentine’s Day Thought
With Valentine’s day just behind us, I thought I’d make a comment about marriage. I’ve been married a long time so I must be either very lazy or somewhat of an expert.
People think that once you live with someone for a while you get into stupid arguments about little things like which end of the toothpaste you should squeeze or how tight the orange juice cap has to be when shaking well before using.
We never argue over toothpaste. But she will occasionally say things like, “It’s your turn to feed the baby,” and I’ll be all like, “But we don’t have a baby.” This can go on for hours until we both end up laughing about how silly the argument was and go back to sleep.
Anyway, here’s a video I made for my wife of 46 years. (Feels like 45.)
Beautiful, heartfelt! I can’t get over how talented you are, Neal. I can imagine how much your wife must love this song, too. You’re both very lucky!
I never get tired of this song, Neal. Absolutely brilliant… 🙂
