We’re All Gonna Be There When She Dies

At the opening of my video for my song, “We’re All Gonna Be There (When She Dies)” I quoted Albert Einstein. “The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”

When Hitler was still rising up the ranks there were many Germans who knew he was a madman. Hell, he wrote down exactly what he planned to do in “Mein Kampf.” Yet we sometimes wonder, “how did this happen? How did so many people go insane?”

Nazi Germany was no different from other countries. Most people are good. They would never have agreed to killing millions of innocent people. But it was a gradual change. And nobody tried to stop it when it could be stopped. And then one day, it was too late to stop. You and your family would be imprisoned for saying it was wrong. Your neighbors, also good people, were now so thoroughly brainwashed that they thought YOU were the enemy.

It’s happening in America now. Good people are refusing to look at what’s really going on. I have many good friends and even family that think I’m the problem for bringing certain things to their attention. I’m “disturbing their peace.” They would rather not know or refute what you’re saying even though they haven’t studied the issue at all. And I can’t say that I blame them. Some of this stuff is very disturbing. The only problem is when you turn away you are guilty of a greater crime than the ones who are committing the crime. It’s the sin of omission. It alone makes it possible for millions to be slaughtered. It alone allows freedom to die.

America is at a very dangerous place right now. We are only one terrorist attack away from becoming a total dictatorship. And the bad guys know this. They create fear so that we’ll all happily give up our freedoms. Benjamin Franklin said, “Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

Already since 9/11 we can be detained indefinitely without a trial. All our phone conversations and emails are being watched, we can no longer travel freely. People are put on a “no fly” list because someone thinks they might be a terrorist. The FBI says if you pay cash for coffee, you might be a terrorist. Our current president said it’s alright to assassinate American citizens, WITHOUT A TRIAL! All they have to be is suspected of terrorist activity. We have no more habeas corpus! All these rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution – gone! Happily given up by the majority of Americans just so they can be protected from the terrorists.

And who do you think the criminals in the government will “suspect” to be terrorists? Other criminals? Of course not. They’ll want to suspect anyone who is exposing their crimes. Yeah, the good people. The real Americans.

And where are the terrorists they are protecting us from. In the 10 years since the 9/11 attack there have been nothing but government staged terrorists attacks. That’s right. Staged by the FBI. Look it up. And why would our own government want to keep us all frightened? Simple. So we will beg them to take away more of our liberty in the name of keeping us safe! What a scam. They create (or let happen) some terrible act against us. Then they say, “We will protect you from this terrible thing!”

Then the people give a sigh of relief as another chain is wrapped around them.

And this is why you’re da man. As one podcaster observed, you’re never afraid to say what needs to be said. Amen to that!
